The... Information

What should I call the world? Should I just use earth? I feel like that's the right way to go about this. However, my personal beliefs go against the line of thought that there's only Earth. there's other worlds and so on. I'm no fool. So, this is going to be difficult for me as a person to pen down onto paper. I'll really be needing Shizuo and anyone else we get to step in and help me.

=w= Well, a potential idea you might want to do is instead of it simply being earth. You could incorporate universally accessible entrances or other unique methods in which the worlds and the other dimensions about it interact. For example, borrowing from superstition from this one; a fairy ring. These could be considered a portal into the realm of the fae. So if you are going with earth as your starting point, rather than have all the other races merely "portaling" into earth from whence they came make it so people can simply wander in via these "Openings" . in doing so you create something in terms of plot that is fairly useful. Since if you make it so people can simply wander into different realms from earth, it means anyone can in theory go anywhere even if they are powerless. As for how this is done? Maybe look through folklore or something like that to get a base. I myself don't quite have any clue of other realms but i think keeping earth as a base would be a safe route. That being said? As i think of more idea's i will begin fleshing out a proper reply.

Hmm. I like that. You know what? Let's start with a world map, but on an expansion level. Maybe we should have one continent for now to pave a way to worldly exploration and so on. Other realms wouldn't be accessible just yet. That's a lot of build up and research for a world so far in the past.

I really think we need a world map. I'll probably search for a cartographer on a website I know of.

Sounds like a plan! Do you want me to look through folk-lore to find different methods individuals could potentially end up wandering between realms while you do that, seeing as while these realms of course won't be open yet, it may be used to understand/know some methods in which afterwards these instances can occur?

I gave it some thought. I think we should have a massive world. One the size of Jupitier, but with smaller worlds surrounding it like moons.

could work! Just depends on what you are trying to get out of it, are you wanting all the races to be on different parts of that world or for that just to be the world of the living?

What about a Miasma that covers the world?
